Born Clayton Johnson, Exile Di Brave, hails from the sunshine city of Portmore, Jamaica, as a versatile artist weaving through Reggae, Dancehall, and World Music.

Immersed in the rhythmic echoes of the 1980s, Exile found his musical calling in the enchanting melodies of Jamaican Roots Reggae and its poignant political narratives.

Exile Di Brave has left an indelible mark on Jamaica’s music scene, gracing esteemed events like Spectrum, Conscious Reggae Party, Bob Marley Festival, and the iconic Rebel Salute Festival. Renowned for his socially conscious lyricism, standout tracks such as ‘Voice of the Young,’ ‘If This Is Love,’ and ‘Hungry’ showcase his compelling artistry. His discography includes five studio albums: ‘The Calling’ (2013), ‘The Journey Begins’ (2015), ‘To The Foundation’ (2016), ‘Black Star Meets Exile Di Brave’ (2017), and his latest endeavor, ‘Project Affinity’ (2020).

Beyond his musical pursuits, Exile is a co-founder of Vinyl Thursdays, a weekly event in Kingston, Jamaica, dedicated to promoting live music and strictly vinyl sounds.
